The Little Sisters of Hoboken are back. This time with a
priest and four charming, talented youngsters. The Nunsense
Christmas Musical, NUNCRACKERS, written by Dan Goggins and
directed by Diana Enloe ,with music direction by Alison
Neace, will open on Friday, November 14 and run through
Sunday, November 23. Just in time to put you and yours in
the holiday spirit, NUNCRACKERS reunites Sisters Robert Ann,
Amnesia, Hubert and Sister Mary Regina (Reverend Mother) as
they present their first TV special taped in the Cable
Access Studio built by Reverend Mother in the Convent
basement. Featuring all new songs, this show is filled with
typical NUNSENSE humor, many of your favorite carols, and a
“secret Santa” audience participation. The Christmas Show
will make you laugh, will tug at your heartstrings, and send
you home ready for the holiday season. The cast consists of
Gail Drillinger as Reverend Mother, Anne Frakes as Sr.
Robert Ann, Jean Heil as Sr. Mary Paul (aka Sr. Amnesia),
Shea Radcliff as Sr. Hubert, and Shea Maples as Father
Virgil Manly Trott. In addition, there are four winners of
the Mount Saint Helen’s School talent contest, Nathan Ash,
Sarah Hasse, Brennan Haug, and Casey Turner. The Upper Room
Band is made up of musicians Carol Griffith at the piano,
Barb McHugh on keyboards, and Ken Link, percussion.
Technical
support comes from Kevin Frakes, set construction; Mark
Hilgert , Mike Cox, and Steve Campbell, special projects;
Lee Cox, Mike Cox, Jane Hill, Robin Karpan, and Jeff Pruett,
lights and sound; Colette Turner (who also plays Sr. Leo),
stage manager and props and Sandi Blair of Robert Schmidt’s
Costumes and Diana Enloe, costumes.
