Reservation Policy

1. Reservations are necessary of anyone who wishes to be assured of a seat for a specific performance. Season ticket holders automatically hold a reservation only for the performance indicated on the ticket.

2. Reservations may be made by calling the Box Office Answering Service - (618) 462-6562. This service is operative two weeks prior to and during the run of each production. Season ticket holders wishing to change their reservation must call the Answering Service and record their change.
NOTE: You will only get a return call IF your reservation cannot be honored.

3. Persons wishing to buy a ticket at the door without having made a reservation may be asked to "stand-by" until five minutes before curtain time. This will occur when reservations equal seating capacity.

4. Seats are held for reservation holders and season ticket holders until five minutes before curtain time. At 7:55 p.m. (evening performances) and 1:55 p.m. (matinee performances), seats will be released to those persons waiting for admittance on a "stand-by" basis.

5. Season ticket holders unable to attend any performance of a production may give their tickets to someone else to use. Unused tickets for any production cannot be honored at any other production during the season.

6. The Box Office opens for each performance one hour before curtain time and the theater doors will open one-half hour before curtain time.

7. For patrons with special needs, call the ALT reservation line at 618-462-6562 in advance with your request for wheelchair seating or any other ways in which we may assist you.
